Odyslav Bozhenko

Senior Product Manager at Vend Marketplaces, Mobility Pro

Hi! I'm Odyslav, a product manager building in the automotive tech space. Though "automotive" only scratches the surface of where this journey has taken me.

Over the last decade I've worked across DMSs, ERPs, healthcare, recommerce, CRMs, and Salesforce ecosystems, shipping somewhere between 25 and 30 products along the way.

My title has changed more than once — Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager — but the work underneath has always been the same: owning the vision, shaping the strategy, and being responsible for both creating value and actually delivering it.

I've built products with teams in the US, UK, across Europe, Ukraine, Poland, and the Nordics. For the last six years I've been based in Trondheim, Norway, which gives me a front-row seat to one of the things I love writing about most: how wildly the craft of product management shifts depending on where you're standing.

A Norwegian team, a Berlin startup, and a New York startup are playing the same game by very different rules.

This blog is where I share the real stuff from daily PM life in both large-scale product companies and scrappy, ambitious startups: the struggles, the wins, the occasional absurd story you can only laugh at later. The frameworks that actually work, the mistakes worth learning from, and the hard lessons that don't fit into a LinkedIn post.

And of course, I'm writing through the AI chaos we've all been living in since around 2024: the genuine transformation, the hype, and the messy in-between as our entire discipline rewires itself in real time. AI-augmented product management is a topic I'll cover often. I genuinely believe the role will change significantly, but that the importance of, and demand for, strong product-minded people will only increase.

My goal is simple: help other PMs sidestep the mistakes I made and accelerate their growth, share insightful use cases and personal (sometimes even ironic) stories, and point you toward the resources, books, courses, and podcasts actually worth your time.
